How to Play Asura Blade - Sword of Dynasty (Japan)

Quick start

Choose Yashaou or another fighter.
Test the three attack strengths.
With Yashaou facing right, enter Down, Down-Right, Right + an attack for the projectile.
If the weapon is on the ground, stand beside it and press Down + an attack to recover it.

Controls

A/B/C are the three attack strengths. Tap Forward twice to dash or hold the second Forward to run; tap Back twice to retreat. Near your dropped weapon, Down + A/B/C retrieves it. Yashaou facing right: ↓↘→ + A/B/C gives Disaster Blast when armed or Kunai Toss when unarmed; ↓↙← + A/B/C gives Bee Sting. Mirror directions when facing left.

Asura Blade - Sword of Dynasty (Japan) — About this game

Asura Blade makes retaining or recovering a weapon part of its three-strength duel. Some special moves require the weapon, while losing it can replace an attack with an unarmed alternative. Yashaou, for example, changes his forward projectile from a sword-based blast to a kunai throw. The magic reserve can fund an enhanced special or be saved to full strength for a super or Boost, adding another decision to spacing and chained attacks.
