Controls
A: attack and pick up nearby items. B: jump. A+B on the ground: special attack that can spend health. A+B in the air: use a Battle Download unit. Cyber Blue’s basic charged attack uses hold A and release; purchased upgrades can change its strength.

Those upgrade discs expand an individual fighter’s attacks instead of merely adding points to the score. The same combined input in the air spends a Battle Download unit for a character-specific benefit that can help nearby allies. Cooperative players can also coordinate their specials, making both money and timing useful resources during the next fight.
