How to Play Berzerk (revision RC31A)

Quick start

  1. Move away from the room’s entry point.
  2. Aim the joystick toward a robot and press Fire.
  3. Move again before another shot reaches the stationary humanoid.
  4. Leave through an exit when Evil Otto approaches.

Controls

The joystick moves and aims in eight directions. Fire shoots in the chosen direction and stops the humanoid while firing. Keep away from walls and robots; Evil Otto cannot be destroyed and can cross the walls.

Berzerk (revision RC31A) — About this game

Berzerk (revision RC31A) places the humanoid among robots in rooms lined with dangerous walls. A shot is aimed with the movement stick, but firing stops the humanoid, making each attack a brief commitment of position. Destroying every robot earns a room bonus even when the robots destroy each other. Staying for too long brings Evil Otto from the entry position; he crosses walls and cannot be destroyed, so an exit remains essential.
