How to Play Battle Garegga - Type 2 (Europe / USA / Japan / Asia) (Sat Mar 2 1996)
Quick start
- Hold A to fire and check the main gun's coverage.
- Collect power and option items while leaving room to move.
- Press B to bomb when in danger; do not enter a blocked route for a medal.
- Firing and pickups affect Rank, so leave more safety room later on.
Controls
Move with the directional controls. Hold A to fire repeatedly and press B to use a stocked bomb. Press C to cycle option formations, normally spread, rear, front, rotating and self-adjusting. Main-gun pickups increase firepower; 40 small bombs make one full bomb. Check the settings for your keyboard or controller mapping.

Advance through vertically scrolling stages full of bullets with shots, bombs and supporting options. Collect power items to upgrade the main gun, gather small bombs to build a full bomb and keep collecting medals to increase your score. Rank rises with firing, pickups and other actions, making enemies more aggressive and bullets faster. Balance upgrades against that rising difficulty and leave yourself a clear escape route.
