Quick start

Controls
Directional control: move the current form. A: shoot. B: transform and release the surrounding attack. The fighter’s main shot points right; the robot’s main-shot direction responds to movement.

Tatakae! Big Fighter (Japan) lets a combat craft transform between a fighter and a walking robot during a horizontally scrolling mission. The fighter fires ahead and presents a smaller target, while the robot changes its shot direction with movement and can travel on the terrain. Transforming also releases a surrounding attack. Pickups improve the weapons, and bosses stand at the end of the stages. Choosing a form changes more than the appearance of the craft, so the next passage and enemy approach help determine which one to use.
