Controls
Four-way directional control: move. Vanguard tank: A ground shot; Type 1 also uses B for the aerial shot. Hardy helicopter: A aerial shot, B ground bomb. Atlanta hovercraft: A shot.
Blazer (Japan) — About this game
Blazer (Japan) changes the battle’s weapons with its vehicle. The Vanguard tank attacks the ground, with its Type 1 equipment also supplying a separate aerial shot. The Hardy helicopter instead divides its controls between airborne fire and bombs for targets below. The final mission introduces the Atlanta hovercraft with its own ordinary shot. Destroying some airborne enemies provides pickups that restore or improve the available resources, so the route involves both using the current vehicle’s strengths and reaching useful supplies without exposing it to the next attack.
