How to Play Blazing Star

Quick start

Choose a ship.
Press Shot repeatedly against the opening wave.
Hold and release Shot for a charged attack.
Use Break during the charged attack to change its coverage.

Controls

A fires the regular shot; repeated presses produce rapid fire. Hold A and release it for a charged attack. B uses Break while the charge attack is active. Move with the joystick and choose the attack suited to the approaching formation.

Blazing Star — About this game

Blazing Star gives each of its six ships a regular shot, a held charge attack and a Break action that changes the charged shot’s coverage. Repeatedly pressing Shot produces stronger rapid fire, while holding and releasing it builds a different attack. Using Break during that attack spreads its power across a wider area. Each ship handles these options differently, making the timing of the charge as important as collecting normal weapon upgrades.
