How to Play Block Carnival / Thunder & Lightning 2

Quick start

Watch the ball’s descent.
Place the paddle beneath the return.
Rebound toward the food-shaped targets.
Approach a power-up only when the ball remains covered.

Controls

Move the paddle left and right beneath the descending ball. Use the launch action to begin a ball when prompted, then keep the paddle under each return while collecting only safe power-ups.

Block Carnival / Thunder & Lightning 2 — About this game

Block Carnival, also called Thunder & Lightning 2, turns its ball-and-paddle contest into a fight against food-shaped alien invaders. Cakes, hot dogs and sushi replace a plain field of abstract targets. The player sends a rebounding ball toward these comic enemies, with power-ups changing the contest along the way. It is Visco’s follow-up to Thunder & Lightning, but its food invasion is the particular theme of this entry. Learn the ball’s return before chasing a pickup away from a safe interception.
