How to Play Block Gal (MC-8123B, 317-0029)

Quick start

Choose the opening ball trajectory.
Move the paddle to return the ball.
Activate useful items by hitting them with the ball.
Prepare for a much faster return if a rocket is struck.

Controls

The analogue paddle moves the bat across the lower edge. Keep the ball in play and direct it into the blocks. Floating item effects activate when struck by the ball, rather than by catching them with the bat.

Block Gal (MC-8123B, 317-0029) lets the player choose the ball’s opening trajectory before defending the lower edge with a paddle. Its floating items activate when the ball hits them, so moving the bat beneath an icon does not collect it. A key adds a safer corner wall, size icons change the ball, and a rocket sharply increases its speed. Multi-hit blocks and awkward fixed barriers make the remaining approach matter after the easy targets are gone. Learn the chosen launch line before pursuing an item, then prepare for the rebound instead of assuming every floating symbol will help.
