How to Play Blood Storm (v1.04)
Quick start
- Learn the front and back arm and leg actions.
- Use the separate Block button to defend.
- Adjust after a limb is lost.
- Use the power gained from a defeated opponent.
Controls
The four outer actions control the front arm, back arm, front leg and back leg; the centre button blocks. Losing a limb disables its attack. After a Sunder, leg inputs allow limited movement but the fighter cannot jump or kick.
Blood Storm (v1.04) — About this game
Blood Storm (v1.04)’s gauntlet-bearing fighters can lose limbs while a round continues. Losing an arm disables its attacks; a successful Sunder removes the lower body and jumping, leaving limited movement through the leg controls. Victories also award transferable powers for later fights. A password can preserve progress on the same powered-on machine, but it is not permanent storage across a cabinet shutdown.
