How to Play Burnin' Rubber
Quick start
- Use Up to accelerate and Left/Right to steer.
- Use Down when the traffic requires a slower approach.
- Watch the warning mark before a large gap.
- Once above the jumping speed, use Jump and guide the landing clear of the roadside.
Controls
Left/Right steers, Up accelerates and Down slows the car. Jump becomes available at sufficient speed, at least 100 mph in the arcade rules. Use it to cross gaps or land on an enemy vehicle. Ordinary cars can be bumped into the roadside, but trucks cannot be destroyed by bumping.
Burnin' Rubber — About this game
Burnin’ Rubber turns the road’s traffic into both an obstacle and a scoring opportunity. Ordinary cars can be forced into the roadside, but a heavier truck needs to be crushed from above rather than pushed aside. Jumping also crosses water and missing sections of road once enough speed has been built. The warning mark gives time to prepare that leap, while the next landing must still leave space to steer clear of debris and the road edges.
