How to Play Battle K-Road
Quick start
- Choose a fighter and learn its six attacks.
- Practise a moving attack against the same-style opponent.
- Try its close grapple when in range.
- Keep learning that fighter when continuing after defeat.
Controls
Use weak, medium and strong punch plus weak, medium and strong kick. Direction and whether the fighter is standing, walking, crouching or airborne affect the available techniques. Quarter-circle forward performs the documented dash.
Battle K-Road — About this game
Battle K-Road begins the chosen fighter against the other representative of the same style before testing the remaining disciplines. Seven styles offer two fighters each, ranging from boxing and sumo to sambo and jujutsu. Three punch strengths and three kick strengths combine with direction and position rather than one shared set of projectile commands. Continuing after defeat keeps the current fighter instead of reopening character selection. Learn that fighter’s standing and moving attacks before making the first grapple attempt, since changing the character is not the ordinary escape from a difficult continuing match.
