Use the four-way joystick to move. Use Buttons 1 and 2 for the two registered actions; their separate functions are not inferred from the shared driver labels.
Bygone (prototype) — About this game
The preserved Bygone prototype follows a small spring-bodied robot through a cavern. Collecting parts changes the robot into other forms, giving progress a transformation element as well as movement through the underground passages. The character can attach to and climb along the scenery while searching for the next route. Its encounters lead toward a large cyclops-like opponent rather than a conventional sequence of separate fixed screens.
