How to Play Catch-22 (version 8.0)
Quick start
- Shoot a highlighted red globe location to select the stage.
- Identify yellow allies and red enemies.
- Fire at threats approaching the friendly units.
- Keep at least one ally alive across the enemy line.
Controls
Aim the mounted gun and pull the trigger. Yellow identifies friendly units and red identifies enemies. The globe-selection screen also uses an aimed shot to choose a location.
Catch-22 (version 8.0) — About this game
Catch-22 (version 8.0) puts the mounted gun in charge of protecting friendly units rather than merely shooting every moving figure. Yellow marks the allies and red marks enemies across battles on land, at sea and in the air. Shoot a highlighted red location on the globe to choose a stage, then keep at least one friendly unit alive until it crosses the enemy line. Completing a breakthrough raises the military rank and awards a campaign medal. Identify the threatened ally before choosing the next target, since defeating a distant enemy does not compensate for losing the last protected unit.
