How to Play Cavelon
Quick start
- Search the corridors for scattered door pieces.
- Shoot a guard blocking the route or avoid it.
- Use a magic sword when the screen becomes dangerous.
- Complete the door and move on to the next floor.
Controls
Joystick: move through the corridors. Shoot action: fire the bow. Magic Sword action: destroy the enemies on screen while that equipment is available.
Cavelon — About this game
Cavelon sends a knight through castle corridors to gather the pieces of an exit door. Guards obstruct the maze, and the bow provides an ordinary attack while the magic sword can remove the enemies on screen. A floating sword supplies another use of that stronger defence. Collecting all eight door pieces opens the way toward the next floor, so reaching an isolated piece can be more useful than following a fleeing guard. The eventual goal is to reach the maiden and confront the Black Wizard.
