How to Play Columns II: The Voyage Through Time (World)
Quick start
- Choose Flash Columns for the target-clearing puzzle.
- Move the falling column toward a useful gap.
- Use Rotate to cycle its three items.
- Connect three matching colours horizontally, vertically or diagonally until the flashing piece is cleared.
Controls
Move the falling column Left/Right. Rotate cycles the order of its items rather than turning it sideways. Connect at least three matching colours horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Flash Columns requires clearing the flashing target; Versus uses larger combinations to raise the rival’s board. Do not let the pile reach the top.
Columns II: The Voyage Through Time (World) — About this game
Columns II separates its falling-piece puzzle into reaching a buried target and pushing a rival toward the top. Flash Columns begins with an existing pile containing flashing pieces that must be cleared. Three matching colours in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line remove pieces and can uncover the next connection. Versus gives both players the same incoming pieces, with larger combinations raising the opponent’s board. Changing the order within the falling column therefore serves either a careful excavation or an attack on the other player.
