How to Play Columns - Neo Geo (HB)
Quick start
- Inspect the current falling piece and the open spaces below.
- Move it toward a placement that completes a line or match.
- Rotate or cycle it before lowering it into position.
- Keep the stack low and preserve room for the next piece.
Controls
Use Left and Right to position the falling column and Down to lower it. Use the Neo Geo action input that cycles the jewel order; unused Buttons A through D are not assigned unsupported functions.
Columns - Neo Geo (HB) — About this game
Columns - Neo Geo (HB) is a homebrew conversion of the falling-gem puzzle format. Each descending column contains three coloured jewels; shift the column, cycle their order and place it so at least three matching jewels align horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Cleared groups can cause the pieces above to fall into another match, so leaving room for chain reactions is more useful than filling the board quickly.
