How to Play Complex X
Quick start
- Move with the movement joystick.
- Aim and fire at creatures with the firing joystick.
- Use Jump to reach the moving platforms.
- Collect ammunition squares and continue to the exit.
Controls
Movement joystick: move the scientist. Firing joystick: shoot in the chosen direction. Jump button: leap to another platform. Blue-and-magenta squares replenish ammunition.
Complex X — About this game
Complex X follows a scientist climbing out of a flooding reactor before the air supply runs out. One joystick handles movement and a second independently aims the gun at the creatures obstructing the escape. Ammunition is limited, with coloured squares replenishing the reserve, while the jump action is needed to reach moving platforms. The sides of the screen wrap, providing another route around the room. Reaching the exit with ammunition left also rewards a more selective shooting approach.
