Cosmo Gang the Video (US) defends the lower edge of the screen from aliens arriving above and from the sides. The intruders form up and then dive toward the Hyper Beat craft, requiring movement as well as a steady attack. Shooting down the carrier of a twin-shot item improves the gun, while other defeated enemies can leave temporary protection or unusual attacks. Watching a pickup’s approach without losing sight of the next diving enemy keeps the formation battle moving in the player’s favour.
