How to Play Crossbow (version 2.0)
Quick start
- Shoot a destination on the map.
- Watch the travellers as they enter from the left.
- Aim at threats before they reach the group.
- Avoid hitting companions and escort the survivors across the screen.
Controls
Aim the crossbow controller and pull the trigger to fire. Shoot map destinations to choose the route. During a crossing, shoot hazards and enemies rather than the travellers.
Crossbow (version 2.0) — About this game
Crossbow (version 2.0) asks the player to protect a group of unarmed travellers as they cross dangerous landscapes. The crossbow removes approaching creatures and obstacles from their path, but careless shots can hurt the people being escorted. A map offers the next destination, selected by shooting it, and surviving companions carry on to that scenario. The journey eventually reaches the castle and the Master of Darkness. Keeping the group alive through each crossing is essential, since losing every companion ends the expedition.
