How to Play Super Astro Fighter (DECO Cassette) (US)
Quick start
- Move beneath a gap in the enemy formation.
- Use Fire to shoot upward.
- Clear the remaining ships before they pass the player.
- Defeat the Space Master before fuel runs out.
Controls
Move Left/Right and use Fire to shoot upward. Clear each wave before it passes; a missed formation can move the player’s position forward for another attempt. Fuel continually runs down. Destroy the Space Master to refuel and begin the next cycle.
Super Astro Fighter (DECO Cassette) (US) — About this game
Super Astro Fighter keeps the ship along the bottom of a succession of descending enemy formations. Letting a wave pass does not simply remove it: the next attempt moves the player closer to the remaining enemies and leaves less room to react. Fuel also runs down during the fight. Reaching and defeating the Space Master replenishes the supply for the next, harder cycle, so conserving lives alone cannot compensate for leaving the last targets alive too long.
