How to Play The Combatribes (Japan, rev 2)
Quick start
- Choose a character if the cabinet configuration presents a selection screen.
- Approach one enemy while keeping the rest of the gang in view.
- Use punches and kicks, then take advantage of a downed opponent.
- Clear the gang before confronting its leader.
Controls
Use the joystick to move around the fighting area. The principal attack actions are Punch and Kick. Fallen enemies can be attacked on the ground; grabs and throws depend on the situation and position.

The Combatribes (Japan, rev 2) makes close-range brawling more physical than a simple exchange of punches. Berserker, Bullova and Blitz confront themed street gangs across six acts, usually clearing a contained fighting area before taking on its leader. Downed opponents remain part of the fight: attacks include stomps, pavement slams and swinging an enemy by the ankles. Some large objects can also be lifted and thrown. Arcade configurations differ in how characters are assigned: a two-player arrangement offers a selection screen, while the three-player arrangement assigns a character to each player position. Learn how an enemy behaves after falling before rushing into the next group.
