How to Play Curve Ball
Quick start
- Start alone with a batting button, or start two-player play with a pitching button.
- Time SWING or BUNT to the incoming pitch.
- Alternate Swing and Bunt to accelerate while running.
- Use LEFT CURVE/RIGHT CURVE to adjust curve and speed, exchanging controls with offence and defence.
Controls
Batting uses SWING and BUNT; alternate them to accelerate while running. Pitching uses LEFT CURVE and RIGHT CURVE to control curve and speed. Start solo play with a batting button or two-player play with a pitching button.
Curve Ball — About this game
Two pairs of buttons divide pitching and batting for a direct two-player baseball contest. Time Swing or Bunt to the incoming ball, then alternate the batting buttons to accelerate while running. The pitcher uses left and right curves to influence direction and speed. The original focuses on button timing and rhythm rather than joystick movement. Learn the difference between a swing and bunt, then connect the hit to running acceleration. In two-player play, exchange the button pairs as offence and defence change.
