Daioh (prototype, earlier) is an exact registered version in this game family. Daioh sends a spacecraft through layered vertical battlefields with a broad selection of shot and bomb weapons. Ion, laser and missile attacks sit alongside heavier effects such as Fire Bomb, Mega Beam and Atomic Bomb. Enemy waves and larger concluding opponents demand a choice of firing coverage rather than one fixed attack for every situation. Learn the selected edition's controls before choosing how to change weapons: the US release exposes all three shots and their bombs through six buttons, so that layout should not be assumed for every regional version. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
