How to Play Dambusters (US, set 2)
Quick start
- Fly past the approaching defences.
- Watch for the dam-approach lights.
- Descend until the aiming beams meet the water.
- Judge the release distance, drop the bomb and climb away.
Controls
Control the bomber’s position and speed while firing at air or ground threats. Use the bomb-release action for the bouncing bomb. On approach, align the targeting beams with the water and climb after release.
Dambusters (US, set 2) — About this game
Dambusters (US, set 2) sends its bomber across the Channel and enemy territory before returning to land in England. The dam attack requires more than simply dropping a bomb over the target: the aircraft descends until the aiming beams meet the water, releases the bouncing bomb at the judged distance, then climbs clear. Fighters, artillery, barrage balloons and fuel depletion threaten the outward and homeward journeys.
