Choose the club, shot direction and stance, account for the wind, and time the swing to send the ball toward the green. The course display presents the terrain, while a wireframe view helps show slopes near the cup. Subsequent shots require a fresh assessment of distance and direction. Birdies and eagles replenish the stock of balls; losing that stock ends the game, so accurate approach shots and putting help sustain the round.
