How to Play DoDonPachi - Feng Bao (Taiwan, ver. 102)
Quick start
- Choose Practice for a shorter opening route while learning a craft.
- Compare normal shot coverage with the laser before moving into a crowded pattern.
- Watch the selected special-weapon resource: bomb stock or the Energy meter.
- Use a ready special attack when needed, and postpone deliberate grazing until ordinary evasion is reliable.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Tap A for shots or hold A for laser; C provides automatic shots, and A+C produces laser. B activates the selected special weapon when its resource is available. No D-button function is assigned here because shot-type switching is a version-1.02 feature and is not shared with 1.00 or 1.01.

DoDonPachi II: Bee Storm combines shot-and-laser combat with a choice between stocked bombs and an energy-powered special attack. In Energy mode, near misses charge the meter until a Super Aura becomes available; that offers a powerful response, but charging close to bullets brings its own risk. Three craft provide different speed and firing coverage, while Practice, standard combat and harder IR modes offer different routes through the game. Start with manageable patterns and learn the selected craft before making deliberate near misses part of a scoring attempt.
