How to Play Death Brade (Japan ver JM-3)
Quick start
- Choose a character and compare light and heavy attacks.
- Press both attacks together to guard and judge the distance.
- Grab at close range and practice throws with directions and attacks.
- Check the special-throw conditions when the triangle gauge is full.
Controls
A is light attack, B heavy attack and A+B guard. Double-tap left or right to run. After grabbing nearby, use a direction with A or B to attempt a throw. With the triangle gauge full, use up+B while holding the opponent to attempt a special throw.
Death Brade (Japan ver JM-3) — About this game
Humans and monsters meet in wrestling-style combat. Choose different physiques, from Fighter, Amazoness and Hercules to Werewolf, Golem and Minotaur. Light and heavy attacks create chances to close in, grab and combine directions with attacks for throws. Use defense and running to manage distance without letting the opponent grab first. A full triangular gauge at the bottom opens the chance for a special throw. Learn your fighter’s reach and decide how to use a large body’s power or quicker movement.
