How to Play Defender (Red label)
Quick start
- Learn altitude, Thrust and Reverse separately.
- Check radar for a lander carrying a human.
- Shoot the lander and catch the falling captive.
- Return the human safely to the surface.
Controls
The two-way stick changes altitude. Thrust accelerates and Reverse changes facing. Fire shoots the laser, Smart Bomb spends the clearing stock and Hyperspace relocates the ship with a risk of a dangerous arrival.
Defender (Red label) — About this game
Defender (Red label) puts the ship’s direction, thrust and altitude under separate controls while the battle wraps around an entire planet. Radar shows threats beyond the visible landscape, particularly landers carrying humans upward. Shoot a lander, catch its falling captive and return the human to the ground before a fatal drop. A captured human reaching the top becomes a fast mutant, while losing every human changes the battlefield dramatically. Learn to reverse without losing track of momentum, then use the scanner to find another rescue instead of chasing only the alien currently on screen.
