How to Play Dig Dug (rev 1)
Quick start
- Dig toward a nearby enemy.
- Press Pump to connect the hose.
- Continue pumping until it bursts.
- Dig beneath a rock and move clear before it falls.
Controls
Use the joystick to move and dig. Pump sends the hose forward; repeated presses inflate the caught monster. Moving breaks the connection. Remove the earth under a rock and leave the tile to make it fall, keeping clear of its path.
Dig Dug (rev 1) — About this game
Dig Dug (rev 1) changes the maze by digging new tunnels while its monsters pursue through both passages and solid earth. The pump freezes an enemy in place and repeated presses inflate it until it bursts, but abandoning the attack lets it recover. Digging away the support beneath a rock creates another weapon that can crush several enemies at once. Dropping two rocks reveals a bonus item during the stage.
