How to Play Discs of Tron (Upright, 10/4/83)
Quick start
- Use the joystick to remain safely on the platform.
- Turn the aiming dial toward the intended wall point.
- Throw a disc directly or with a rebound.
- Adjust vertical aim when the platforms change height.
Controls
The joystick moves Tron. The rotary dial positions the aiming reticle; later encounters also use its push/pull height adjustment. Trigger throws a disc and the thumb action activates the limited deflector.

Discs of Tron (Upright, 10/4/83) keeps Tron moving on small platforms while aiming disc throws at Sark across the arena. The joystick changes position, but a separate rotary control places the aiming reticle on the arena wall. Discs can strike the opponent directly or bounce to destroy his supporting platform. The deflector has a limited supply, and some of Sark’s more dangerous attacks cannot be deflected. Later moving platforms also require aiming higher or lower. Learn a rebound while keeping Tron away from the edge before trying to remove the next platform.
