How to Play Double Dragon (Neo-Geo)
Quick start
- Choose a fighter and compare the four attack strengths.
- Practise a dash and retreat to control distance.
- Learn one special motion from the selected character's command list.
- Wait for the required Charge state before attempting a Charge move.
Controls
A performs weak attack, B medium attack, C strong attack and D super attack. Forward twice dashes; back twice retreats. Press up again in the air for the documented second jump. Charge techniques have character-specific commands and require the life bar to be in Charge mode.

Double Dragon (Neo-Geo) on Neo Geo turns its characters into opponents in a fighting game rather than sending them through the earlier game's street rescue. Four attack strengths support character-specific special moves, directional throws and follow-up attacks against a knocked-down opponent. The health display also governs access to Charge moves, so its current state matters before attempting a powered technique. Learn the chosen fighter's commands, use a dash or retreat to manage distance, and practise an air or ground approach before trying the stronger Charge sequence.
