How to Play Dream World

Quick start

  1. Inspect the gem route, enemies, ladders and overhead bars.
  2. Choose whether to clear the gems or remove the enemies.
  3. Stun basic enemies with a jump and use floor holes against helmeted enemies.
  4. Reach the exit after satisfying a stage-clear route.

Controls

Use the four-way joystick to move, climb and use overhead routes. Use the three registered action buttons for jumping, digging and other stage actions; their physical order is not assigned without an operation card.

Dream World — About this game

Dream World gives its little magicians two ways to clear a stage: gather every gem and escape, or remove the enemies. The choice changes as new creatures arrive. Basic enemies can be stunned by a jump, while helmeted ones call for holes dug into the floor. Ladders and overhead bars provide routes that the characters’ limited jumping cannot replace. Some layouts therefore reward a planned gem route, while others make arranging a trap the safer way forward.
