How to Play Dr. Toppel's Adventure (World)
Quick start
- Move and fire through the opening creatures.
- Collect a Pel companion.
- Watch its shot direction while following the craft.
- Fix its position to intercept a dangerous approach.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. A fires the anti-virus cannon; B switches the Pel formation. Blue Pels follow the craft and fire opposite its travel direction. Green Pels stay fixed and can block enemies or bullets, but are destroyed by those impacts.
Dr. Toppel's Adventure (World) — About this game
Dr. Toppel’s Adventure makes the tadpole-like Pel companions an adjustable line of fire and protection. In their following formation they trail the Moricfrog craft and shoot opposite its travel direction. Fixing their position instead turns them into obstacles that can intercept enemies and shots, although those impacts can destroy them. Collecting additional Pels builds the available formation up to five.
