How to Play Dungeon Magic (Ver 2.1O 1994/02/18)
Quick start
- Choose a hero and try A for Attack and B for Jump.
- Hold A and compare releasing at white and yellow charge.
- Line up horizontally with enemies and investigate the room’s mechanisms.
- Watch magic stock and time, then leave through the open exit.
Controls
Move in eight directions with the joystick. A attacks and B jumps. Hold A and release at white for the first charge level or yellow for the second. Double-tap left or right to dash and press A during it to attack. A+B performs a special move that consumes magic stock.
Dungeon Magic (Ver 2.1O 1994/02/18) — About this game
Choose one of four heroes and pursue the wizard who abducted the princess. Move in eight directions through isometric rooms, defeating enemies and operating switches to open exits. Movement and attack directions differ: ordinary attacks go left or right, so line up horizontally with the enemy. Hold Attack to charge through white and then yellow, and release for a hero-specific special attack. Limited magic helps when surrounded. Break crates to look for points and healing, but keep track of the room’s time limit and the mechanism that opens the exit.
