Three identical items can be arranged horizontally, vertically or around a right-angle corner, and the corner can face any of four directions. Separate left and right rotation actions help place the falling arrangement. Look for a corner already waiting for its third item before committing another piece to a straight column. The accepted shape matters when a field that looks almost full still has a useful match available.
