How to Play Grand Prix Star (ver 2.0)
Quick start
- Insert a coin, press Start, select a course with the wheel and confirm with Start.
- Accelerate with the pedal and steer with the wheel.
- Brake before corners and choose high or low gear as needed.
- Watch the remaining time and reach the next checkpoint.
Controls
The wheel steers left and right. Use the accelerator to gain speed and the brake to slow. Shift between high and low gear. On the course-selection screen, choose with the wheel and confirm with Start.

Race around a circuit and reach the next checkpoint within the time limit. Use the steering wheel, accelerator, brake and high/low gearing together. Slow before corners and settle the car’s direction as well as driving quickly. Choose Germany, Monaco or Japan at the start. Germany offers a fast forest course; Monaco a technical city course. Learn steering and braking first, then build speed to finish and improve your position.
