How to Play F/A (Japan)
Quick start
- Compare the aircraft’s main and ground weapons.
- Use the main shot against an airborne target.
- Use the secondary attack against a surface target.
- Collect the rescued prisoners and avoid the next return fire.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. Main Shot attacks airborne targets; Ground Shot uses the aircraft’s equipped Vulcan, targeted bomb or guided missile. The secondary attack is a regular ground weapon, with its range determined by the selected plane.
F/A (Japan) — About this game
F/A (Japan) equips each of its sixteen aircraft with a fixed combination of air and ground attacks. The secondary weapon may be a straight Vulcan shot, a targeted bomb or a guided missile, changing how the aircraft approaches surface enemies. The loadout is kept rather than upgraded through pickups. Prisoners rescued from destroyed targets add points, while the armour reserve must last through the successive missions.
