Quick start
- Shoot an enemy and collect its money.
- Attack a stage base.
- Enter the shop for a useful engine or weapon upgrade.
- Choose whether to use an exposed warp zone before clearing the remaining bases.
Controls
Move Opa-Opa with the joystick and use separate Shot and Bomb actions. Destroy bases and collect money for shop upgrades. Warp zones connect the Bright and Dark sides, where destroyed bases stay cleared.
Fantasy Zone II - The Tears of Opa-Opa (System 16C, PS2 data file) — About this game
The System 16 remake of Fantasy Zone II gives each stage a Bright Side and a more dangerous Dark Side. Destroying a base removes it from both, while warp zones allow the route to switch between the two dimensions. Dark Side rewards are greater, but clearing the final base there leads to a harder boss pattern. Money from destroyed enemies buys engine and weapon improvements in the shop.
