How to Play Fast Lane
Quick start
- Steer around the road maze to change the unpainted sections.
- Use the gaps between lanes to change your route.
- Collect people for temporary abilities.
- Adjust speed to avoid the pursuing vehicle and finish colouring the road.
Controls
Use the directional controls to steer through the road maze and its lane gaps. Use the two action inputs to change speed or trigger the currently available temporary ability; their physical assignment is not inferred from the generic Button 1 and Button 2 labels.
Fast Lane — About this game
Fast Lane turns a road maze into a race to repaint every section. Driving over the differently coloured lanes changes them to match the main road, but a pursuing vehicle tries to cause a collision. The car cannot simply reverse direction, so gaps between roads are essential for changing its route. Collecting the people in the maze provides temporary abilities such as jumping, shooting or an armoured attack. Completing the road colour brings the next layout, with speed control helping time the next crossing.
