How to Play Field Combat
Quick start
- Move the Genesis so its sight lines up with a target.
- Attack threats or capture a suitable unit for the army.
- Deploy available allies to help with the advance.
- Reach the gate or clear the enemy force to finish the battlefield.

Field Combat — About this game
Field Combat lets the Genesis command craft build an army from captured enemy units. Its missile attack destroys targets, while a capture beam converts suitable units into reinforcements that can later fight alongside it. Enemy forces include infantry, tanks and helicopters, with an opposing craft able to abduct friendly units. The arcade battlefield can be completed by reaching its gate or eliminating the enemy force. Moving toward that gate while choosing which units to capture gives the advance a tactical element beyond shooting everything in sight.
