How to Play Fighting Fantasy (Japan, revision 3)
Quick start
- Test the attack and jump to learn the weapon's reach.
- Practice the high jump and the downward aerial attack.
- Identify weapon attacks that can be guarded and attacks that must be avoided.
- Spend the victory reward on equipment before selecting the next opponent.
Controls
Use the joystick for movement and attack direction. A attacks with the weapon and B jumps. Press Up plus B for a higher jump, or Down plus A while airborne for a downward attack. On the ground, press away from the opponent plus A to guard; magic and attacks that do not meet the weapon cannot always be blocked.
