How to Play Flipull (Japan)
Quick start
- Move up or down to align the held block.
- Throw at a matching exposed pattern.
- Check the newly returned block before the next throw.
- Use a ceiling route when a vertical approach reaches a blocked target.
Controls
Up/Down positions the thrower at the left of the pile. The action button throws the held block rightward. A ceiling or back-wall contact can redirect it downward. Matches clear along its path and determine the next held pattern.

Flipull (Japan) gives its thrower one patterned block and a pile that must be reduced. A matching hit removes that design along the throw’s direction, then changes the next unlike block and returns its former design for the following throw. Removing support lets higher blocks fall, opening an approach that was previously blocked. Shots into the ceiling can descend vertically instead of striking a row directly. Learn the returned block’s pattern after the first match before repeating a throw, since the useful next move depends on the exchange as well as the gap just cleared.
