How to Play Front Line (FL, 5 PCB version)
Quick start
- Practise movement and aiming separately.
- Test pistol aim, grenade direction and the explosion point.
- Approach a blue vehicle and try its weapons.
- Avoid mines and blasts on the way to headquarters.
Controls
The original cabinet uses an eight-way stick for movement and a rotary dial for pistol, grenade and turret aim. Press the dial to fire the regular weapon. A separate button throws grenades or enters and exits vehicles. Movement alone does not determine aim.
Front Line (FL, 5 PCB version) — About this game
Guide a soldier through enemy lines and destroy the headquarters. Movement and aim are separate, so you can direct pistol fire and grenades sideways or backward while advancing. Blue armoured cars and tanks offer stronger firepower later. Avoid mines, rolling rocks and enemy vehicles, as well as your own grenades and exploding wrecked tanks. Choose between infantry and vehicles and keep a safe route ahead.
