Galmedes (Japan) — About this game
Galmedes (Japan) gives its pilots a small armoury to manage during a vertically scrolling journey. Collected weapons remain available for switching, so a narrow laser, a wider spread and a pattern covering both front and rear answer different enemy formations. Repeated pickups strengthen the corresponding weapon, even while another is selected. The acquired weapons also support a charged attack, making it useful to prepare a burst before a dangerous formation arrives. Losing a ship removes the active weapon, which makes the choice of equipment part of protecting the remaining collection.
