Quick start

Move with the eight-way lever and check enemy shots and ground target positions.
Use button 1 for the main cannon against airborne enemies and button 2 for ground bombs.
Approach parts surrounded by rotating spheres from a safe side and collect them.
Collect more parts to strengthen and widen the main cannon, clearing enemy formations early.
Avoid staying directly in front of large enemies; keep room to move sideways while firing.

Controls

Move the spaceship in all eight directions with the lever. Button 1 fires the main cannon at airborne enemies; button 2 drops bombs on ground targets. Parts upgrade the main cannon in stages and widen its firing spread. Check the control settings for keyboard or gamepad assignments.

ガルディア (317-0006) — About this game

Pilot a spaceship and use separate weapons against airborne enemies and ground installations. Dodge enemy fire with the eight-way lever, firing the main cannon with one button and dropping ground bombs with the other. Collect parts that appear near the top of the screen between rotating spheres to upgrade the main cannon. Its firing spread widens until it becomes a broad beam. Enemy fire continues while you pursue upgrades, so plan a safe approach first. Alongside firing at airborne enemies, watch where the aiming marker overlaps ground targets and use the ground weapon accordingly. Enemy formations and large motherships await in each section.
