How to Play Gravitar (version 2)
Quick start
- Rotate toward a nearby planet and thrust into its view.
- Use short thrusts to keep clear of the terrain.
- Fire at a surface bunker.
- Move above a fuel cell and use Tractor/Shield to retrieve it.
Controls
Rotate Left/Right changes the ship’s heading. Thrust accelerates in that direction and Fire shoots. Tractor/Shield retrieves fuel cells and blocks enemy shots. Thrust and shielding consume fuel; the shield does not prevent collisions with terrain or ships.

Gravitar (version 2) makes a short thrust a decision about both momentum and fuel. After entering a planet, the ship must destroy surface bunkers without drifting into the terrain. Its combined tractor and shield retrieves fuel cells while protecting against shots, but neither the shield nor an extra ship prevents a crash into the landscape. Using thrust and the shield together consumes fuel faster, giving the next safe pickup a practical importance.
