Great Sluggers (Japan) — About this game
Great Sluggers (Japan) brings twelve Japanese league teams into a baseball game with four stadiums. The controls change their role between batting and fielding, allowing the same buttons to handle a runner’s advance, a swing, a pitch or a throw. Sending a runner forward and returning one to base use different actions, so learning both sides of possession helps avoid wasting an opportunity. This 1993 Japanese game has its own three-button instructions, separate from the later Great Sluggers ’94 releases.
