Controls
The joystick moves forward, backward and sideways. The lightgun aims the reticle and turns the view. The arsenal combines a primary machine gun with the selected cyborg’s secondary weapon.

Gunbuster (Japan) lets its hunter move through an arena independently from the lightgun aim. The joystick advances, retreats or strafes, while the gun directs the reticle and turns the view. Four cyborg choices bring different secondary weapons alongside the primary machine gun, including mines, laser, fire and spark. Walls, columns and glass provide cover or an opening during the duel. Learn a side-step while maintaining aim before entering the next maze, then choose a secondary weapon whose recharge suits the target rather than remaining exposed while waiting for it.
