How to Play Guwange (Japan, 1999 6/24 Master Ver 16:55)
Quick start
- Use ordinary fire against small enemies while moving through the route.
- Hold A to control the shikigami near a tougher target.
- Slow its bullets and destroy it to create coins.
- Preserve the skull gauge or use a stocked bomb when needed.
Controls
Joystick: move the fighter; while A is held, direct the shikigami and the fighter can move only horizontally. A: ordinary attack, or hold to summon and control the spirit. B: bomb. C: rapid fire when enabled by the cabinet’s DIP setting.

Guwange (Japan, 1999 6/24 Master Ver 16:55) sends its on-foot fighters through paths where walls and obstacles change the approach to each enemy. Holding the attack summons a shikigami that can reach beyond ordinary shot paths and slow hostile bullets. Destroying a target near those stalled bullets converts them into coins. The skull gauge links that collection into a continuing scoring chain, giving the spirit a role in both defence and scoring. Releasing it restores ordinary movement, while a limited bomb provides another response when the route becomes dangerous.
